The Montreux Jazz Festival library is the largest testimony of live music recorded on the same stage, both in audio and video, for the past 44 years (more than 4’000 bands among others were filmed in Montreux resulting in 10’000 recording tapes).
The 1991, 1992, 1993, 1997 and 2002 to 2010 editions of the festival were recorded in High Definition TV.

Outside Broadcast pioneered High Definition Television productions in Europe, and it all started with Unit 8. HD ready in June 2002 it recorded it’s first HD concerts at the prestigious “Montreux Jazz Festival” and has continued to do so every year. The big CRT monitor wall and the spacious production room are a dream for every sports director. Three large slow motion operating desks give space to 9 operators or producers. Each of them features quad split monitoring and a direct view on the production wall.
